She led by example with a positive attitude and enthusiastically helped others through Girl Scouts, Church Youth Group, and many charity runs. Her joyful, generous spirit lives on through the work of the Helene Cody Foundation.

Awarded to a Princeton High School student, who is part of the Cross Country or Track program, and has shown both leadership in the sport and dedication to community service.

Helene Cody Memorial Cadet Scholarship
Available to a Princeton High School senior who has shown outstanding service as part of the Cranbury EMS Squad.

Helene Cody Memorial 8th Grade Award
Awarded to a Cranbury School 8th grader, who is part of the Cross Country or Track program, and has shown both leadership in the sport and dedication to community service.

Matching Grants to Youth Groups
Availble for local youth group’s community service projects.

Helene Cody Cranbury 5K
An annual 5K race with proceeds supporting the Helene Cody Foundation.

Support to local community service projects.

Homefront
Support for youth activities sponsored by Homefront, an organization fighting homelessness in central New Jersey.

The Helene Cody Cranbury 5 K and 1 Mile Fun Run are held on the Saturday following Labor Day. The proceeds benefit the Helene Cody Foundation and it’s work to inspire youth to volunteer.

Gil & Bert’s Ice Cream Annual Opening
Every spring, when Gil & Bert’s Ice Cream, located on Main Street in Cranbury, opens for the season, a part of the proceeds from the opening day sales will go to benefit the Helene Cody Foundation.
